Cali Raised Productions is a music production company based in Arvada, Colorado. Our passion for music and sounds will take you on a journey. The CEO has been on a journey himself. From the streets of East LA then through the Army and around the world. This why we strive for the best. We've seen a lot in life so all there is left is to make music and tell about it. That's why he is now working on his BA in Audio Production through Full Sail University.

This is a school project from Full Sail University Online. Creating samples for games and learning how to use Wwise was quite fun. I look forward to using this knowledge in the working sector. There are 5 sections of this project. We made samples for each by using multiple sounds that compliment each other in a way to get the sound that we are looking for by combining them all on one track and then mixed them down to the appropriate levels. We then added the sounds to the game using Wwise. The result is the sound you hear in the video put together from the project. I hope you all enjoy.

PROJECT III
This is my 3rd Portfolio assignment with Full Sail University. In this course we learned a few more techniques for mixing audio. Especially, new mastering techniques. To your right is the song I created from scratch using LogIc Pro. Mastering, I used Pro Tools. The Original sounds were made from objects around the studio. Hope you like. Enjoy!!!

PROJECT IV
This was a school project for Full Sail University. We were all told to pick from a specific list of tracks from the Cambridge Music Library that we could remix and the song I chose was:
Summertime by Bolz & Knecht
what inspired me to make this piece was the fact that it is reggae and I used to play drums in a reggae dub band. I began with creating a double time beat that went along with the chorus. Then I added FX and transitions for more of that dub feel. Finally on the bass I created a deep sliding octave jumping bass line. Last I created 3 other variations with different beats. I hope you enjoy.
PROJECT V
This was another project for Full Sail University called "The Blacksmith". First, I started by making a title card by picking a background then overlaying text on it with my name and what I do. Next I found sounds to match up with the fire and then a whoosh when the text appears and of course when it exits.
Second, I created the Cinematic. I began by searching for Background sounds which I found a droning type sound for the magic holding up the metal shards that I mixed together with some faint white noise. I then found sounds to match him getting up out of the chair. After, I found sounds to match the metal shards falling along with a sound for the release of the magic. Then I found sounds to match the footsteps. Next, I found a sound for the initial push on the wooden doors and a deep creaking wooden door sound for when the doors were opened. Finally, I found a soundscape of birds and insects for the Background outside.
Third, I created the Gameplay video. I created for sounds once again to match the characters fighting sounds as far as grunts. The enemy character dying was actually made with a dying cow sound beefed up with bass through an EQ and a little reverb for depth. For the background I made a sound into a weather loop and weather 1 shots. Next, I layered a metal belt clanging sound with 2 other sounds for belt and the rings in his hair. Then, I created sounds to match the footsteps.
Finally, I created a Contact Card which I built the same way as I did the Title Card.
